What are your views on Global Financial Outlook 2008?

2007 will surely be known as the year the US housing bubble burst. As US house prices fell and
mortgage delinquencies surged, shock waves were sent across global financial markets.
The outlook for 2008 will most likely to stay in volatile conditions. So. choppy waters are
likely to be with us for some time. What do you think?

As 2007 draws to a close, it’s a good time to get prepared by researching into various sources
for the latest news and information.

I spent the past few days searching for some experts’ views on Global Economic Outlook for 2008

to get myself prepared as, apart from Internet Marketing, I’m also involved with Stock and
Forex Trading.

Below, you may find something useful to read and watch…

What the experts said:

Anthony Bolton of Fidelity:
“I would expect the contagion to seep into most stock markets like a cancer”

Nigel Thomas of Axa Investment:

“Global growth is key to equity markets as US and UK growth will slow”

“A turning point for the dollar?” by JP Morgan:
“2007 proved to be a very poor year for holders of the dollar. In real trade weighted terms the
dollar fell by 8% in the first 11 months and is now at its lowest level since 1980. So much so,
that the market chatter focused on “regime change” and whether the world financial system is
weaning itself off the dollar as a reserve currency.
……..Thereafter, the greenback revival could begin. Far from this being the end of the dollar
hegemony in global financial markets, 2008 might be remembered for when the dollar finally

bottomed and underwent a meaningful bounce.”
