True Compass: A Memoir
What a disgrace! This whole thing should be in the fiction section. Every memoir is written to improve the image of the author, but this is a little too over-the-top.

If anyone has any questions re: the Chappaquiddick accident then look at the A&E DVD called the Chappaquiddick Investigation. Bill Curtis took crash reconstruction engineers, divers, etc. and looked at old reports. His conclusions are very good. I was convinced and that’s not easy to do. Its very interesting as well. I cant wait to read the book.

I was always a fan of Ted. He was always the underdog after being the so-called “black sheep” of the family. That was more attributed to his drinking and his tragic nightmare in 1969. However, after the Clancy nomination theatrics, I was very dissappointed in the Senator. His relationship with Romney was even more dissappointing to say the least. I guess politics sometimes brings out the worst in people. I wish he was alive to defend this book because this just confirms my belief that in his later years he was desparate for power as he was slowly losing his grip of it. His latter years must of been pure hell and I hope nobody has to experience that. Out of respect, I hope Ted is joined with his brothers in that place of truth and paradise. RIP Ted.

As I write this, so far there are 21 5-star reviews which indicates that the now creaking Kennedy machine still has at least that number of retainers and lackeys.
